Recording Fees

For entering and Recording any Original Deed, Mortgage, Lis Pendens, Certified Copy, or Other Instrument:

$30.00 per Document

 

Name and address of the person who drafted the document must appear on the documents executed in Michigan (MCLA 565.201A, 565.203)

Any document which assigns or discharges more than one instrument

$3.00 shall be added to the recording fee for each additional instrument so assigned or discharged.

 

For entering and Recording a Plat of a Subdivision or Condominium:

$30.00 Flat Fee

Filing$30.00
Additional Fee for Non-standard Form$7.00

 

If the value of the real estate transferred is $100.00 or more, payment of State and County transfer tax is required:

 

Rate of County tax:
$0.55 for each $500 or fraction thereof

 

Rate of State Tax:
$3.75 for each $500 or fraction thereof

Please be advised that Ludington Street, between Lake Shore Drive and 7th Street, is closed to all traffic and will remain closed until further notice.

This closure will affect parking on Ludington Street in front of the Delta County Courthouse. While west side street parking may still be available, please anticipate potential limitations in immediate proximity to the courthouse.

We encourage all visitors to the Delta County Courthouse to plan accordingly for this road closure and allow extra time for travel and parking.
