Opioid Taskforce

Delta County Opioid Taskforce (DCOT)

The mission of our Opioid Taskforce Committee is to address and combat the opioid crisis by implementing evidence-based strategies to prevent opioid abuse, expand access to effective treatment options, promote public awareness and education, and support individuals and communities affected by opioid addiction. We are committed to collaborating with healthcare professionals, government agencies, community organizations, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive and compassionate solutions that prioritize the health and well-being of all individuals impacted by opioid misuse.

The Taskforce meets the first Friday of every month in the Delta County Service Center Boardroom, located at 2920 College Ave. Escanaba, MI 49829.

Starting Monday, November 3rd, 2025, the East side and South side (front entrance) of the Delta County Courthouse will be closed to citizens and employees for parking. As construction is completed, those sections will reopen. Please plan accordingly when visiting the Courthouse. This will not affect entry into the Courthouse, as that is still located at the front of the building on the South side. This is for parking only. Thank you for your patience.
