Sac Bay & Rapid River Falls

Sac Bay Park

​This 65.85 acre community park in the southern portion of the Garden Peninsula. It is accessed by County Road 438, and is fronted by Big Bay de Noc on Lake Michigan. Primarily used during the summer months, local residents use the park for day picnics and gatherings.

Rapid River Falls

This 80 acre park is just off US Highway 41 in northern Delta County.  The park rests at the foot of several small rapids created by limestone bedrock.  County residents use Rapid River Falls Park for picnics, gatherings and outdoor weddings.  This park is also used by travelers along the highway as a rest stop between Escanaba and Marquette

Please be advised that Ludington Street, between Lake Shore Drive and 4th Street, will be closed to all traffic beginning on Monday, April 28th, 2025, and will remain closed until July 2025.

This closure will affect parking directly in front of the Delta County Courthouse. While east and west side street parking may still be available, please anticipate potential limitations in immediate proximity to the courthouse.

We encourage all visitors to the Delta County Courthouse to plan accordingly for this road closure and allow extra time for travel and parking.
