Whether it’s telling ghost stories by the fire, casting a fishing line in a lazy river, taking a dip in the cool waves, turbo putting a flying disc against the wind, or simply chasing fireflies across the playground, Delta County Parks offers the perfect setting for reconnecting with your childhood, your family and friends, and nature.

Located in Michigan’s scenic Upper Peninsula, Delta County maintains 4 pristine parks and 1 county forest to accommodate endless recreational opportunities: Pioneer Trail Park & Campground, OB Fuller Park & Campground, Rapid River Falls Park, Sac Bay Park, and the County Forestland.

For Pioneer Trail Park and OB Fuller Park camping reservations are made online starting December 1 of each season, with campgrounds opening in May. These 2 campgrounds offer seasonal (May-Oct) and monthly camping sites, but those reservations must be in by November 15 and can only be entered by park staff, no seasonal or monthly reservations can be made online at this time. These sites are offered on a first-come first-serve basis. In addition, anyone who is a current seasonal camper must wait until the end of the camping season (October 13) to be put on the list for future seasonal camping.

Rustic camping is available on the County Forestland with a permit. Permits are free. See the Forestland page for more details.

Please be advised that Ludington Street, between Lake Shore Drive and 4th Street, will be closed to all traffic beginning on Monday, April 28th, 2025, and will remain closed until July 2025.

This closure will affect parking directly in front of the Delta County Courthouse. While east and west side street parking may still be available, please anticipate potential limitations in immediate proximity to the courthouse.

We encourage all visitors to the Delta County Courthouse to plan accordingly for this road closure and allow extra time for travel and parking.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
